The National Cadet Crops (NCC) is the Indian military cadet crops with its head quarters at New Delhi. It is is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engagezd in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens.  NCC Came into existence on 16th April 1948 through the XXXI Act of Parliament . It is a  voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability far active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the crops.

  Aims of NCC
  1. To develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, Sportsmanship, Ideals of Selfless service among the youth of the country.
  2. To create human resource of Organized, trained, and motivated  youth.
  3. To provide suitable environment to motivate youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces
  Oath and Pledge of NCC

Oath: “I do hereby solemnly promise that I will serve my motherland most truly and loyally and that, I will abide by the rules and regulations of the National Cadet Crops. Further under the command and control of my commanding officer I will participate in every camp most sincerely and wholeheartedly”.

Pledge: “We, the cadets of the National Cadet Crops, do solemnly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity of india. We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizen of our nation. We shall undertake positive community service in the spirit of selflessness and concern for our fellow beings”.

The institution was started in the rural and backward area of Rajampeta in the year 1980 with the moral support of her husband Sri K.Mara Reddy garu. Established in 1980, the College is moving ahead with times and made significant contribution in promoting the cause of education in the backward district of Rayalaseema.


To promote regional hormone and to provide holistic education to the poor meritorious students of the three regions of Andhra Pradesh through quality curricular programmes resulting in students empowerment and to develop the institution to a position of National importance.
